TV Game- Red Wings at Capitals 730pm NBCSN
Prediction- The Wings and Capitals both play smart defensive systems, this is a change for the Caps who now play under Barry Trotz who coached Nashville and is a defense 1st coach, the Red Wings are healthy and this is the difference, they are the better team, Washington will be better than they were on the road but, the Wings get the lead early and hold off the Caps in the 3rd.
Score- Wings 4-2 Caps
TV Game- Kings at Pens 7pm NHL Net.
Prediction- This is a battle of 2 different styles, the Kings like to grind out games, use their size get the puck in front of the net and score that way, while the Pens like to skate with their speed and get the game more up tempo. This is a tough one to predict, the Kings did not play many road games this year so far, they are very talented but, so are the Pens, I see this going to overtime and maybe a shootout.
Score- Kings 2-3 Pens in OT or SO
No TV games
Best Game- Kings at Red Wings 730pm
Prediction- The Kings have it tough, play in Pittsburgh then travel to Detroit to play the Wings Friday. I like the Wings here on the fact of it being game 2 of a back to back.
Score- Kings 1-3 Wings
